Our Executive Board
The Executive Board, elected for a two-year renewable term of office at an Annual General Meeting, is the principal administrative organ of the NIDO Germany.
It is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organisation’s affairs as well as for initiating and recommending policies to the General Assembly and implementing same when approved.
As a collective body, the Board holds the authority and responsibility to ensure the fulfilment of the organisation’s mission.
The Executive Board consists of the following officials: The President, the Vice President, the General Secretary, the Assistant General Secretary, the Public Relations Officer, the Project Officer, the Financial Secretary and the Treasurer.
The Executive Board of NIDO Germany is usually comprised of professionals from all walks of life who bring a rich and diverse experience to the table.

An engineer with about 10 years’ experience in industrial and communal projects on sustainability and energy management. Dr Ogun is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with proven track records in excellent team building and leadership. He has a unique passion to serve his community and believes that increased Diaspora engagement in African development is critical to the continent’s
transformation.
Shakiru is a visionary personality with a degree in communications engineering. A skilled communicator, he possesses the ability to bring people of diverse backgrounds together. With strong leadership skills and expertise in HiperLAN technology, he is driven to implement broadband communication projects in all Nigerian universities, fostering inclusive connectivity and bridging the digital divide
for all.
Emmanuel is a research scientist whose focus centers on Animal Infectiology and Environmental Hygiene.
As a passionate Nigerian interested in African Development he is currently serving as the General Secretary of the association.
Charles holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from FUT Minna and an M.Sc. in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from TU Hamburg. His expertise encompasses chemical reaction engineering, process engineering, improvement and management.
He seeks to support young Nigerian professionals striving for excellence in the diaspora and aims to help NIDO Germany expand its influence.
Ayodeji possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management. He currently works as an IT System Administrator at a globally renowned Cookies management company and has extensive experience in community engagement.
Ayodeji is a highly motivated individual who excels as a team player and actively contributes to philanthropic endeavors.
Larry is a journalist who has also worked with African organisations, organizing and overseeing events while acting as a link between communities and a range of other local authorities.
A team-player equipped to face the challenges to work with and for Nigerians in Diaspora.
Dr Oguntona holds a B.Sc. from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as well as an M.Sc. and a PhD from the Technische Universität München. He is well experienced in (air) transportation systems, project management and systems engineering.
He is an includer and is committed to supporting fellow Nigerians towards a
successful integration experience in Germany.
Olaseni is a skilled and versatile engineer with a solid foundation in various engineering and IT disciplines. With a passion for innovation and problem-solving, Olaseni consistently delivers high-quality solutions and contributes to the successful completion of complex projects as a certified Clouds Solution Architect. Overall, Olaseni is a proven entrepreneur, compassionate and dedicated humanitarian who combines empathy, advocacy, and community engagement to create positive social change amongst others both home (Olaseni Lawal Foundation) and abroad.
