Our Executive Board

The Executive Board, elected for a two-year renewable term of office at an Annual General Meeting, is the principal administrative organ of the NIDO Germany.

 

It is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organisation’s affairs as well as for initiating and recommending policies to the General Assembly and implementing same when approved.

 

As a collective body, the Board holds the authority and responsibility to ensure the fulfilment of the organisation’s mission.

The Executive Board consists of the following officials: The President, the Vice President, the General Secretary, the Assistant General Secretary, the Financial Secretary, the Public Relations Officer, the Project Officer, the Treasurer and the IT Officer.

 

The Executive Board of NIDO Germany is usually comprised of professionals from all walks of life who bring a rich and diverse experience to the table.

 

Here’s our current leadership team, elected for a 2-year term on 14 June 2025:

Dr. Moses Ogun
President

An engineer with over 10 years’ experience in industrial and municipal projects on sustainability and energy management. Dr. Ogun is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with proven track records in excellent team building and leadership. He has a unique passion to serve his community and believes that increased Diaspora engagement in African development is critical to the continent’s
transformation.

Shakiru Oladunjoye
Vice President

Shakiru is a visionary personality with a degree in communications engineering. A skilled communicator, he possesses the ability to bring people of diverse backgrounds together. With strong leadership skills and expertise in HiperLAN technology, he is driven to implement broadband communication projects in all Nigerian universities, fostering inclusive connectivity and bridging the digital divide
for all.

Charles Onyeanuforo
General Secretary

Charles holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from FUT Minna and an M.Sc. in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from TU Hamburg. His expertise encompasses chemical reaction engineering, process engineering, improvement and management.

He seeks to support young Nigerian professionals striving for excellence in the diaspora and aims to help NIDO Germany expand its influence.

Michael Ejenobo
Assistant General Secretary

Michael is an entrepreneur and software developer
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Management and is passionate about building startups.

He currently serves as the Assistant Secretary of NIDO Germany.

Ayodeji Ayansola
Financial Secretary

Ayodeji possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management. He currently works as an IT System Administrator at a globally renowned Cookies management company and has extensive experience in community engagement.
Ayodeji is a highly motivated individual who excels as a team player and actively contributes to philanthropic endeavors.

Dr. Mathew O. Okeyim (PhD)
Public Relations Officer

He is a seasoned university lecturer with experience both in Nigeria and internationally. His areas of interest include political communication, migration, contemporary social issues such as poverty and unemployment, human rights, and international relations.

A liberal scholar and a conformist to modernity, his current focus is on the effective management of information within NIDO Germany to achieve improved outcomes.

A team-player equipped to face the challenges to work with and for Nigerians in Diaspora.

Dr.-Ing. Aliyu Makama
Project Officer

Aliyu Makama is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute of Communication Networks, Hamburg University of Technology. His expertise lies in the fields of communication networks and electronics engineering.

He earned his PhD from Hamburg University of Technology, where his research focused on wireless seismic data acquisition networks for oil and gas exploration and monitoring. He previously obtained a Master’s degree in Microelectronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, United Kingdom, with a specialization in visible light communication. His academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.

Prince Abiola Oludare
Treasurer

Abiola is a professionally trained actor and cinematographer with a background in journalism and public relations. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy in Heidelberg, he brings a global perspective shaped by travel to over 40 countries.

He is passionate about purposeful engagement and is committed to revitalizing NIDO Germany through inclusive, media-driven outreach that connects and empowers Nigerians in the diaspora.

Olusegun Alawaiye
IT Officer

Olusegun’s versatility and dynamism span multiple fields of human endeavour, with a broad knowledge base in Agricultural Economics, the agro-allied industry, service delivery, web development, DevOps engineering, and above all, humanitarian service.

His motivation stems from a passion for addressing complex challenges through problem identification, brainstorming, evaluating potential solutions, stress-testing ideas, and refining outcomes through collective decision-making.
